When you request a quote or ask a question, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, ZIP code, and a description of your project. We also collect standard technical data (IP address, device type, pages visited) to run and improve the site.
We use your information to (1) answer your question, (2) connect you with one matched local service professional when you request it, and (3) operate, measure, and improve HomeAnswer. When you submit a quote request, we record the consent you gave — including the time, page, and the disclosure you saw — and we share your project details with the single matched professional so they can contact you.
We do not sell your contact information to open call lists. Your quote request is used for the specific project you submitted. We do not run third-party advertising against your browsing on this site.
We use Google Analytics and PostHog product analytics, including sampled session replay, to understand page visits, scrolling, button clicks, and form progress so we can improve HomeAnswer. Form fields and other editable inputs are masked in replay. We do not intentionally send form values, email addresses, phone numbers, or advertising click IDs to PostHog.
You can ask us to delete your information, correct it, or stop contacting you at any time via the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or by emailing privacy@homeanswer.com. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other state residents have specific rights described there.
When you submit a quote request, you provide your prior express written consent to be contacted by HomeAnswer and the one matched local service professional assigned to your request by phone call and/or text message, including via an automatic telephone dialing system or a prerecorded or artificial voice, at the number you provide, regarding your inquiry. This consent is not a condition of obtaining a quote or any service. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell any caller to stop. Separately, you may opt in to marketing emails/texts (tips and offers); that opt-in is optional and you can unsubscribe or reply STOP at any time. We honor opt-out requests promptly.
