HomeAnswer exists to help homeowners make better decisions before they hand over a phone number, book a visit, or sign a quote.
We prioritize real homeowner questions: symptoms people search, projects that drive expensive decisions, quote traps that cause regret, and recurring questions from answer logs and service pages. We do not build pages just because a keyword can be generated. A page has to help someone decide what to do next.
HomeAnswer uses AI-assisted tools for research organization, drafting, QA, and turning structured project knowledge into readable answers. That does not remove responsibility. We review pages for usefulness, factual consistency, internal links, disclosure, and whether the answer actually helps a homeowner. AI-assisted does not mean unattended.
Most pages are published by the HomeAnswer Editorial Team. Where a page is reviewed by or substantially informed by a named outside expert, we identify that person or company only when the credential, relationship, and permission are real. We do not create fictional expert personas, invented credentials, or unsupported experience claims.
Home prices, product lines, incentives, and code requirements change. We update pages when better data, homeowner questions, pro feedback, or market changes show that an answer needs improvement. If you spot a problem, email answers@homeanswer.com with the URL and what looks wrong.
We are not your contractor, inspector, attorney, insurer, or code official. Our content is general guidance. Your home, local rules, and actual site conditions can change the right answer. For any safety issue, active leak, gas smell, electrical hazard, structural concern, or suspected mold problem, get qualified help quickly.
